We know it’s hard not being able to physically visit the Smoky Mountains whenever you want, but now you can virtually! Smoky Mountain attractions have created special virtual tours and adventures so that you can see the Smokies from anywhere in the world. We’ve made a list of 9 virtual tours of Smoky Mountain attractions and online activities so you can experience the Smokies right from your home!

1. National Park Webcams / Google Earth Virtual Tour

The national park site has webcams at Look Rock, Clingmans Dome and Newfound Gap so you can see some of the most beautiful parts of the Smokies at any time of day. For an even closer look at the park, take a virtual tour of the Smoky Mountains right from your living room! Thanks to Google Earth, you can now explore your favorite spots in the park from wherever you are, including Laurel Falls, Chimney Tops, Newfound Gap, Clingmans Dome and more. 2. Titanic Museum Virtual Tour

The Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge has created a special virtual field trip for kids! This Smoky Mountain attraction has put together a series of videos for kids that take them on an adventure through the ship. Don’t worry, the videos are fun for adults too! Monday through Thursday each week, you can also tune into the Titanic’s Facebook page for a livestream of an inspirational passenger story, as well as a live book reading on Friday.

3. Virtual Ride on the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster

The Rocky Top Mountain Coaster is one of the most thrilling Smoky Mountain attractions, and now you can ride it from wherever you are! While the video is only part of the 9-minute ride, you’ll still get to experience the twists, turns, downhill runs and tunnels.

4. Virtual Tour of the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park

Are you missing the familiar yellow chairs that take you to the top of Crockett Mountain? Lucky for you, the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park is letting everyone take a virtual trip to the attraction. Through the hour-long video, you’ll take a ride on the Gatlinburg SkyLift, then get off onto the SkyDeck to explore, where you’ll have stunning views of the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg at dusk. The virtual tour also takes you across the SkyBridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America! You’ll feel like you’re right here in the Smokies experiencing it all for yourself. 5. Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies

You can experience the top aquarium in the country right from your home! Ripley’s Aquarium is holding numerous live events throughout the coming weeks that make you feel like you’re at the Gatlinburg aquarium. You can watch live feedings, educational encounters, story time and more! There are also downloadable animal activities and crafts on the aquarium’s website. And don’t forget about the live penguin cam that takes you inside the Penguin Playhouse at Ripley’s Aquarium!

6. Virtual Escape Game

This digital adventure takes you on a mission to stop a suspected art thief. It’s up to you to find clues and solve puzzles to complete the mission. The Escape Game is also offering other online adventures, like virtual field trips and an online scavenger hunt and mystery game.

7. Adventures of Sasquatch at Anakeesta

While there aren’t any visitors at Anakeesta, Sasquatch likes to roam around! You can keep up with Bigfoot’s time at the park through the “Adventures of Sasquatch” series on the attraction’s Facebook page. 8. #OberCast at Ober Gatlinburg

Ober Gatlinburg has started a new online series called #OberCast. This event begins every day at noon on the Smoky Mountain attraction’s Facebook page. It features attractions, the Wildlife Encounter, foodies and fun facts about the history of Ober. The days of the week are as follows: Monday Funday, Trendy Tuesday, Wildlife Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, Foodie Friday. You can watch the first #OberCast video below:

9. Sugarlands Distilling Co. Sippin’ Sessions

Get a taste of Sugarlands Distillery right from your home! Every afternoon at 4 p.m., tune into the Gatlinburg distillery’s Facebook page for its Sippin’ Session! These sessions include cocktail-making tutorials, live music, Q & As with celebrities and more.
