Wineries in Gatlinburg TN

The Smoky Mountain winery locations listed below are all located on the downtown strip and are participating wineries of the Gatlinburg Winery Trail!

Smoky Mountain Winery locationTennessee Homemade Wines– enjoy free tastings at this top-rated winery; it’s #1 in Tennessee on TripAdvisor and Yelp! They’re most known for their Southern sweet fruit wines like peach, strawberry, passion fruit, blackberry, apple, and more! Other varieties that have become fan favorites include their white and red Muscadine wines and the Great Niagra, a crisp and refreshing white wine.

Smokin’ Banjo– another spot for free tastings, this newer winery features bubbly sparkling wines in fresh fruit flavors such as raspberry, pomegranate, peach, and passion fruit. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a must-stop during your stay in the Smokies.

Old Mountain Wine Company– dog-friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, this Gatlinburg winery offers a great selection of wine and mead. We highly suggest trying the mango or elderberry mead, as well as the blackberry lemon wine! 

Wineries in Pigeon Forge TN

Hidden away among the colorful attractions along the Pigeon Forge Parkway, these Smoky Mountain winery locations are worth visiting for delicious samples. 

Bootleggers Smoky Mountain Winery locationMountain Valley Winery– one of the popular stops along the Rocky Top Wine Trail, it’s one of the oldest wineries in the state. It’s also family and dog-friendly with an outdoor seating area. Get free tastings, enjoy wine slushies, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the winemaking process! 

Bootleggers Winery– If you’re planning to visit The Island in Pigeon Forge, be sure to stop by this winery located next to The Island Creamery. They also have a location in downtown Gatlinburg! Each batch is bottled by hand, and a couple of our favorites include the Muscadine Blush with a blackberry twang and the Scuppernong, a medium-bodied white wine with an apple-pear finish. 

Wineries in Sevierville TN

From Smoky Mountain wineries in the heart of town to the rolling hills of Wears Valley, these locations provide an authentic wine tasting experience in a tranquil environment. 

Tennessee Mountain View Winery– take in the mountain views while sipping on some locally-made wine; it doesn’t get any better than that! Another pet-friendly location with free tastings, you can get wine flights, slushies, charcuterie, wine and chocolate pairings, and more!

Cades Cove Cellars– inspired by the Great Smoky Mountain scenery, this local winery has locations in both Sevierville and Townsend TN. We recommend trying their Porters Creek Peach and the Old Mill Red! If you like light, dry white wine, the Abrams Falls is right for you; sweet wine enthusiasts will love the Roaring Fork made with Niagra grapes which makes a fantastic sangria! 

apple barn wineryHillside Winery– This winery has brought a bit of Tuscany to the Smokies! Black and Blue is by far their best-selling wine, a delicious blend of blackberries and blueberries. Hillside Mist is the runner-up, a sweet bubbly Asti-style white wine.

Apple Barn Winery– a trip to Sevierville isn’t complete without stopping at the Apple Barn Complex! Their winemakers have created an incredible apple-based wine and created fruit blends with peach, strawberry, raspberry, and many more.
