Your Itinerary for Spending Labor Day Weekend in the Smoky Mountains

Labor Day weekend is one of the best times to get away, and there is no destination better than the Great Smoky Mountains! Friday Evening

Saturday Evening

As sunset draws near, the Gatlinburg SkyPark offers some of the best views around! There is nothing quite like taking in the sunset views from the SkyBridge, which holds the record for being the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America. You can also kick back and enjoy some time at the fire pit, or grab some refreshments at the SkyDeck. Afterwards, head back into town for your choice of the many amazing restaurants in Gatlinburg for dinner, including Cherokee Grill, The Peddler Steakhouse, and more.

After your meal, we recommend heading over to Great Smoky Mountains National Park to enjoy the incredible natural beauty that the area has to offer. The park has more than 800 miles of hiking trails, providing plenty of options when it comes to exploring the park. Once you’ve finished up dinner, it’s time to head back to your cabin or hotel to relax and think back on all the fun times you have had!

Monday Morning

As your trip draws to a close, you will likely be packing up and getting ready to hit the road back home. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t squeeze in a little more fun before your trip is finished!
