There are more than 1,500 kinds of flowering plants in the mountains. Enjoy the weather and go for a hike in the park to see them.
What to Pack for a Spring Vacation
When you’re packing for vacation, make sure you’re paying attention to what the weather is supposed to be like during your time in the Smoky Mountains. For a spring vacation, we recommend bringing clothes for warm weather during the day and cooler temperatures in the evening. It’s always handy to have a sweatshirt or light jacket with you regardless of the season. Weather can be unpredictable, so make sure you bring clothes for both rain and shine.
