Fast Cars N Mason Jars Moonshine Festival Coming In September

If you have a passion for fast cars and homemade moonshine, the Fast Cars N Mason Jars Moonshine Festival is one of the best things to do in Gatlinburg, TN. The festival begins on September 26th, and ends on the 28th. The races will take place at the Moonshine Holler, which can be found within the Ole Smoky Moonshine parking lot. When you visit the Holler, be sure to take a gander at some of the surrounding images and art while you enjoy a variety of “moonshine cars”.

While you are spending time at the festival you can also enjoy an array of free music along with an entire awards ceremony for the moonshine cars that are participating in the events throughout the days. The festival will also feature corn hole tournaments and the famous “Moonshine Crawl”. Those who participate in the Moonshine Crawl will visit a collection of the best restaurants and bars in downtown Gatlinburg. Traveling in a group to various locations during the festival is a great way to spend time with friends and family while enjoying some of the most delicious dishes and drinks downtown.

There are also night time events which take place at the Riverside Motel. If you choose to attend the night time events while you are going to the festival, feel free to bring your own blankets and lawn chairs to relax on outdoors. On the night of Friday September 27th, there will be a free country music concert. Saturday’s night time events including stories, talks and histories from individuals and families who have been moonshining for decades.
