2. Cliff Top Grill & Bar
Cliff Top Grill & Bar is another one of the most buzzed-about new restaurants in Gatlinburg. Located at the Anakeesta theme park overlooking The Strip, this eatery offers breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Some of the most popular menu items at Cliff Top include the ½ pound char-grilled burgers, fried green tomatoes, and Newfound Gap Chicken Sandwich.
3. Barley Station
The brainchild of local chef Adam Palmeno and business partner Robin Caudill, Barley Station is a fusion BBQ restaurant that specializes in smoked farm-to-table food. In addition to classic barbeque favorites like pork ribs and brisket, the restaurant also serves more adventurous dishes, like wasabi slaw and Cuban black beans. Music lovers will be pleased to hear that Barley Station typically hosts live rock bands on Friday and Saturday.
4. Five Oaks Farm Kitchen
If you’re in the mood for authentic Southern fare, you’ll love Five Oaks Farm Kitchen. Situated in the historic Five Oaks area of Sevierville, this great new restaurant is quickly building a stellar reputation for its mouthwatering country breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Standout menu items include the buttermilk biscuits, eggs benedict, fried chicken, open-faced pot roast, and the sugar-cured ham steak.
5. Cookie Dough Monster
Cookie Dough Monster is guaranteed to be a hit with your whole family! This unique restaurant serves gourmet grilled cheeses, burgers, soups, and a special type of cookie dough that is safe to eat raw. Much like an ice cream shop, the cookie dough at CDM comes in a variety of delicious flavors.
6. Yee-Haw Brewing Co.
The Yee-Haw Brewing Co. taproom is the perfect place to enjoy some tasty food and a pint of craft beer. Located at The Island in Pigeon Forge, Yee-Haw has 20 beers on tap, large format bottles of bourbon, and Tennessee Whiskey aged beers. We’re big fans of their massive pretzels, which are served with homemade beer cheese.
7. Teaffle
Teaffle serves two treats that are popular in Asia: bubble tea and bubble waffles. Bubble tea is a milk or fruit-based tea infused with small, chewy tapioca balls. A bubble waffle is a type of dessert waffle that is folded into a cone and filled with ice cream and toppings. In addition to these international specialties, Teaffle also offers slices of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and house-made cotton candy.
