6 Things You Didn’t Know About the Dollywood Harvest Festival 2018
The fall season is just around the corner. Cooler temperatures will soon be making their way into the Smoky Mountains, and before you know it, the leaves will be turning to bright reds, yellows, and oranges. The arrival of autumn also means that the Dollywood theme park will be hosting its annual fall celebration! To help you make the most of your next vacation, we have put together a guide to six things you didn’t know about the Dollywod Harvest Festival 2018.
1. Thousands of jack-o’-lanterns will fill the park
In the Timber Canyon section of the theme park, Dollywood will host a special nighttime harvest experience! As part of the Great Pumpkin LumiNights, the park will be filled with thousands of beautiful jack-o’-lanterns that will feature a variety of whimsical designs. The LumiNights will also include meet-and-greets with friendly Halloween characters, glow-in-the-dark face painting, pumpkin carving demonstrations, and a glowing maze.
2. You have an entire month to visit the Dollywood Harvest Festival!
From September 28 – November 3, 2018, Dollywood will be decked out in fall decor, featuring live music and great foods! Plus, the weather is great in the fall season in the Smoky Mountains, so you won’t want to miss a great time hanging out and enjoying everything Dollywood has to offer!
3. Dollywood will outdo itself with decorations.

4. Everyone can experience over 350 free concerts.
The great thing about Dollywood is, once you’re in the park, the entertainment is free! With each paid admission, visitors will be able to attend any of the 350 gospel music shows. There will be a variety of performances from some of the biggest names in Southern Gospel.
