2nd Annual Halloween Event in Pigeon Forge Expects Hundreds of Visitors
Fall has arrived in the Smoky Mountains and is one of the most festive seasons in the area! From the harvest festival at Dollywood to breathtaking hikes through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, autumn is an amazing time to take a relaxing getaway vacation.
As the temperatures begin to drop and the leaves begin to change, the Smoky Mountains take on an entirely different character. Visiting in the fall season provides a different experience than any other time of year. By the end of the month, nearing Halloween in Pigeon Forge, there will be many spook-tacular events to celebrate the fall holiday.

This year, The Island in Pigeon Forge is putting on their 2nd annual Halloween event in Pigeon Forge! The Island at Pigeon Forge is home to shops, restaurants and attractions that are aimed to provide fun for the whole family.
The 2nd Annual Halloween at the Island will feature many different events and attractions that are designed for every age group. The event in Pigeon Forge begins on October 31 at 5:30 p.m. and lasts until 11 p.m. There’s a lot going on at the event, so here are a few of our favorite things to do at the Halloween event at The Island in PIgeon Forge:
Halloween Candy Stations
Candy, candy and more candy! That’s what’s happening at The Island in Pigeon Forge this year! Trick or treaters are welcome and encouraged to stop by all of the candy stations. Each store will be handing out candy throughout the evening, so make sure to bring your candy basket!
Activities for Kids
At the event, there will be large inflatable rides and face painting available. There will be $5 unlimited ride tickets available for purchase.
Costume Contest
All kids love to dress up for Halloween, right? At this year’s Halloween event at The Island, let your child dress up to enter the costume contest! The contest begins at 8:30 p.m., so ake sure to join in on the fun! Even if you aren’t dressing up for the event, it’s great to watch the other kids dress to impress!
Outdoor Movie
Halloween at The Island features an outdoor movie beginning at 9:15 p.m. This year, The Island will be showing Hotel Transylvania for anyone who wants to attend. This movie is sure to please the younger members of your party and make for an excellent time for the kids to enjoy the candy and treats they have collected throughout the evening.
Spooky Storytelling
What would a Halloween celebration be without a scary story or two? This Halloween event features spooky stories being told by professional storytellers. These stories will make you (and your kids!) shiver.
After Hours Costume Party at Dick’s Last Resort
For everyone looking to have a little late night Halloween fun, there will be an after hours costume party at Dick’s Last Resort, located right at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Guests looking attend this event will want to bring their photo IDs for any alcoholic beverage purchases throughout the evening.
