Dolly Parton Tribute at the 2019 Grammy Awards
Dolly Parton was honored at the 2019 Grammy Awards with a tribute that featured more than a dozen of the top recording artists. The tribute opened with Katy Perry and Kacey Musgraves singing “Here You Come Again,” and Dolly herself joined in on the performance! She also shared the stage with her goddaughter Miley Cyrus to sing “Jolene” and both Maren Morris and Cyrus to perform “After the Gold Rush.” Country music group Little Big Town joined in on the celebration and sang Dolly’s new song, “Red Shoes,” with her before all the singers came back out to join Dolly in singing “9 to 5.” The tribute definitely made the Grammys a night to remember.
