1. The Peddler Steakhouse
Dining at The Peddler is a Gatlinburg tradition! Opened in 1976, this famous steakhouse has built a loyal following for its mouthwatering hickory charcoal-grilled steaks. If you dine at The Peddler, we recommend requesting a table with a view of the Little Pigeon River, which runs beside the restaurant. No matter where you are seated, you will enjoy The Peddler’s elegant atmosphere and intimate lighting. Be sure to save room for dessert, because The Peddler’s chocolate cake is out of this world!
2. The Melting Pot
The Melting Pot is another one of the most romantic restaurants in Gatlinburg TN. Specializing in both cheese and chocolate fondue, this popular date night spot offers a unique dining experience that you will remember long after your vacation is over. Couples should consider calling ahead to reserve seating in the restaurant’s Lover’s Lane, a row of booths that provide cozy accommodations and stunning views of the mountains. The Melting Pot even offers a special package for guests who are planning to propose during dinner!
3. Cherokee Grill
Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Cherokee Grill is popular with both locals and visitors alike. Featuring an upscale mountain lodge aesthetic, this wonderful restaurant sets the mood with a stone exterior, a granite and walnut accented interior, and a welcoming fireplace. Guests will enjoy a varied menu that includes steaks, seafood entrees, Southern favorites, and so much more. We highly recommend trying their delicious blue cheese grits!
4. Crystelle Creek Restaurant and Grill
Crystelle Creek features an atmosphere unlike any other restaurant you will ever visit. Built on the site of an old trout farm, this one-of-a-kind eatery is named after the lovely stream that passes behind the building. Water from the creek is pumped up to the restaurant’s roof, where it cascades down to create a lovely waterfall-like effect. Crystelle Creek is also well known for offering exceptional live music every night of the week. We almost forgot to mention, the front of the restaurant boasts a breathtaking 150-foot tree that is decorated with twinkling lights!
5. Alamo Steakhouse
The newly remodeled Alamo Steakhouse is a fantastic choice for a night out with your sweetheart. This excellent restaurant serves hand-cut steaks that are seasoned in-house and grilled to perfection over an oak fire. For a truly special experience, couples can book one of the Alamo’s Love Nests, semi-private tables that were designed with romantic dinners in mind. The Alamo requests that guests make Love Nest reservations at least 48 hours in advance.
