About The Heirloom Room

The Heirloom Room: Creekside Restaurant & Bar was originally the location of The Tea Room that served locals and visitors when the city of Gatlinburg was first established. As the area’s popularity grew and tourism increased, The Tea Room became hotel guest rooms in the early 1900s to provide more space for travelers to stay. The name The Heirloom Room is a nod to the original identity of the location. This property has been family-owned and passed down for generations, and The Heirloom Room now carries on the legacy. This Gatlinburg restaurant strives to celebrate the local heritage of the mountains through the foods and drinks they serve.
