ATV Trail Rides in the Smoky Mountains

So you’ve been shopping, seen some shows, had fun at the amusement parks. Now you want to try something different, something outdoors. What about a trip on an all-terrain vehicle in the mountains?

Bluff Mountain Adventures has guided ATV rides on 6,000 acres in Sevier County. You can choose a five-mile round trip or up to a 20-mile round trip. One of the courses takes you to 2,300 feet on top of the ridge. You must be at least 12 years old to ride. If you choose, you can have a custom trip, with just you and your group and a guide.

If you’re not familiar with an ATV, it’s what we used to call a four-wheeler, back when you had to differentiate between it and a three-wheeler. Everyone wears a helmet and goggles, and they ask you wear closed-toe shoes, preferably boots or sneakers. The trails that you will be riding vary in difficulty. Some are beginner level while others take you on inclines that are only slightly wider than your ATV. It’s probably best to call ahead and get details, as many of the popular trails fill up quickly.

There’s plenty to do in Sevier County, and part of a memorable vacation is doing something different. With Bluff Mountain Adventures, you can take a ride and have views of the mountains unlike any
others.
