Take a Look at the New Lumberjack Feud Outdoor Theater
History of the Lumberjack Feud
The original Lumberjack Feud opened in 2011 to popular acclaim. This fun dinner show centered around a competition between two teams of professional ESPN lumberjack athletes. With log rolling, tree climbing, ax swinging, chainsaw carving, and other logging events, this one-of-a-kind performance was thrilling to watch.
In 2015, Dolly Parton acquired the Lumberjack Feud and revamped the theater. Known as Dolly Parton’s Lumberjack Adventure, the new show featured more acrobatics, aerial feats, and special effects. Less than a year after the Lumberjack Adventure premiered, Dolly decided to move away from the lumberjack theme and produce a show about her family. The new attraction, Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventures, opened in April of 2017.
