TripAdvisor released its lists for the top amusement and water parks around the country and the world, and The Island in Pigeon Forge made the cut! The Island came in spot 6 in the 2018 Travelers’ Choice Awards for Top 10 Amusement Parks in the United States and spot 9 for Top 10 Amusement Parks in the World. Every year, TripAdvisor releases the Traveler’s Choice Awards, which features the best parks, restaurants, museums, airlines and more that are chosen by reviews submitted by users. The ratings took into account the quantity and quality of both reviews and ratings for parks worldwide over a 12-month period. Coming in at spot No. 6, The Island beat out SeaWorld Orlando and Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California! The No. 1 spot went to Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida.
