5 Dollywood Splash Country Slides You Don’t Want to Miss

1. Fire Tower Falls

Dollywood Splash Country’s tallest and fastest slides can be found at Fire Tower Falls! Towering 70 feet into the air, these slides are for the biggest of adrenaline junkies. Two side-by-side freefall slides, checking in at 280 feet long, give guests the opportunity to race against a friend of their choosing before plummeting into a 140-foot water-filled lane. The minimum height requirement for Fire Tower Falls is 48 inches.

2. RiverRush

Splash Country signFeel the rush of the river on Tennessee’s first and only water coaster, RiverRush! You’ll board a four-person boat with friends and family, racing along a 1,175 foot slide that features four drops, hairpin turns and dark tunnels. As you ride the rushing water, you’ll navigate through trees four stories in the air as the water splashes around you. Guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride.

3. TailSpin Racer

TailSpin Racer is one of the more unique slides you’ll find at Dollywood Splash Country. Featuring six lanes of slides it’s perfect for families wanting to add a little friendly competition to their vacation in the Smokies! This traditional mat racer-style slide features tight turns, daring drops and checks in at five stories tall and longer than a football field. See who can get to the bottom first! The minimum height requirement is 42 inches.

4. Big Bear Plunge

riding down water slideAre you ready to take a plunge? Big Bear Plunge has you covered! It’s an extreme white water rafting adventure on a winding slide that provides thrills for all. You’ll hop in a four-person raft that travels through dark caverns with steep drops and winding bends, similar to what you’d experience during a rafting adventure in the Smokies. At the end of this slide, you’ll plunge off a bumpy cliff into a pool below. The minimum height requirement is 36 inches.

5. Mountain Twist

Dive headfirst into water thrills on Mountain Twist! It’s one of a handful of rides at Dollywood Splash Country that involves sliding down atop a single-person mat. You’ll maneuver more than 300 feet of exhilarating twists and turns on this attraction that is made up of three separate slides. For an exciting time, grab two of your family members and race one another to the bottom to see who wins! Riders must be at least 36 inches tall to enjoy Mountain Twist.
