Ramsey Cascades Hiking Trail located in the Cosby Area off of Greenbrier Road the trail is 8 miles long round trip with an elevation gain of 2375' with a strenuous difficulty rating for hiking abilities and fitness level required. A popular hiking trail to see many waterfalls that flow from the Ramsey Prong of the Little Pigeon River down the second highest mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains. As well as following along the streams and waterfalls the trail has is in a lush forest with old growth trees, a wide variety of plants, and wildflowers.
