Middle Prong Hiking Trail
Middle Prong Trail located in the Townsend Area off of Middle Prong Trail head the trail is 8.3 miles long round trip with an elevation gain of 1140' with a strenuous difficulty rating for hiking abilities and fitness level required. A challenging hike that offers great views of many waterfalls with three larger falls including a 35' multi-tiered waterfall, several small falls, and cascading areas of the little river. Pass over footbridges, cross creeks balancing on stones, and see several historic remnants from the days the area was used for logging in the early 1900's along this trail.
