Brushy Mountain Hiking Trail

Brushy Mountain Hiking Trail located in the Mt. LeConte Area off of Roaring Fork Motor Trail the trail is 6.8 miles long round trip with an elevation gain of 1745' with a strenuous trail rating for hiking abilities and fitness level required. Starting off following the Trillium Gap Trail that is surrounded by heavy foliage in the forest,  follow the wide path to Grotto Falls where you can walk behind the waterfall offering a relaxing retreat on a warm day continuing on the trail look for a junction leading off  to the left for Bushy Mountain Trail with an increase in the incline that is about two thirds of a mile to the summit providing a view of the eastern Great Smoky Mountains.
