Winter Carnival of Magic 2013
Well, the countdown is on. Before you can wave your magic wand, the Winter Carnival of Magic 2013 will be here. Scheduled for March 8-9 in beautiful Pigeon Forge, TN this year’s carnival is guaranteed to be better than ever. With new performers being added all the time and various lectures, shows and contests for everyone the carnival is sure to have something for everyone. Fans of magic will be on cloud nine as they watch some of the greatest magicians on the planet perform at their best. Perfomers such as Harry Allen, Andy Dallas, Bill Pryor, Jessica Reed and many others are scheduled to wow audiences and leave them begging for more.
The Country Tonite Theatre in Pigeon Forge promises to be the place to be in early March. The three-day convention will have something for all fans of magic including lectures, a dealer’s room, two evening shows, a stage competition and a close-up competition. With all this going on, folks will have a hard time deciding what to do first and a harder time making themselves leave.
The rates for magicians of all ages to attend the carnival are so reasonable you’ll wonder if they just got pulled out of a magician’s hat. Adults can attend the three days for only $135, while junior magicians ages 10-17 can be part of the action for only $70. Those future Houdini’s under age 10 can learn from the best for only $25 over three days. One-day passes are also available ranging from $15-$75.
For magicians wanting to put their talents on display and compete against others, the stage competition and close-up competition are sure to be full of thrills. With trophies awarded for first and second place and $100 cash awarded to the first-place finisher, the contestants will be reaching deep into their top hats and waving their magic wands fast and furious to outdo one another.
The official hotel for the convention is the Ramada Limited, located next door to the theatre. A close-up room will be on-site so magic can be shared and enjoyed after hours. For those wanting another venue, the Hotel Pigeon Forge is also next door and offers southern hospitality at its finest.
So for those magic fanatics who can’t get enough of top hats, card tricks and more just say the magic words and come on down to the Winter Carnival of Magic!
