Location Details: Sevierville
Bedrooms: 5 Bathrooms: 5.5 Sleeps: 18
This one-of-a-kind mountain retreat could be the setting for your next unforgettable vacation as you reconnect with family and friends. Come experience the most stunning feature of this house that can’t really be captured in photos – the awe-inspiring view of Wears Valley and the Great Smoky Mountains. You’ll feel your heartbeat slow and you’ll be happy to call this cabin home as you experience this sanctuary from the pressures of daily life. Even folks who have lived in this area all of their lives comment that the views from the two-level expansive decks are perhaps the most amazing they’ve seen.
Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck as you watch the sun rise over the valley and the Great Smoky Mountains beyond. Gather with the rest of your friends and family to make breakfast in the well-appointed kitchen before you all head out to the many activities that have drawn you to the area.
Some of you may drive six minutes to an entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain Park for hiking and fly fishing. Some of you may prefer the countless attractions like Dollywood in Pigeon Forge (15 miles) or Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg (17 miles). Others might want to shop at the Tanger Outlets (12 miles). In the warmer weather, some of you might choose to head to the nearby pool that sits beside a great café and a catch and release pond for fishing. Then, when you all gather back at the house, you can relax around the fire in the spacious living room, enjoy the evening views from the fabulous hot tub on the deck, or watch a movie in the state-of-the-art media room.
For those of you who prefer to stay close to home, there are window seats and reading areas throughout, along with a variety of books to enjoy while you’re here. Or you can enjoy one of our favorite spots at the table in the upstairs window alcove with views on three sides -- perfect for sharing a puzzle or a board game. The smaller children in your group can get cozy in the kids’ nook (one of the huge master closets that’s been transformed with fairy lights, a play teepee, and some lounging cushions). And if one of you needs this to be a working vacation, we’ve provided business grade Wi-Fi to help with communication.
Your choices go on and on. The game room has a pool table and Multi-cade game console with over 40 games. The media room has twelve comfy recliners with cup holders so that everyone can enjoy the surround-sound from the 75” HD TV with DVD player. The downstairs kitchen allows for easy snack prep for everyone watching movies or enjoying the hot tub. There’s a gas grill on the upper deck just outside the kitchen for more cooking options. You’ll appreciate the craftsmanship and attention to detail in all of the furniture, fixtures, and appointments, but everything is intended for comfortable, real-life enjoyment.
This 4400 square-foot house sleeps a total of 14. You’ll have the choice of three king-bed suites and one suite with two queen beds. All of the suites have views of the Smoky Mountains, flat screen TVs, large walk-in-closets, and private bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs, tile showers, and over-sized vanities. The kids will love the sleeping alcove downstairs that has two twin bunk bed sets with a full bathroom just around the corner.
Of course, you’ll have access to the tools of daily life including hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, a Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer, and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. We also have a Pack ‘n Play and a high chair for our youngest guests.
If you let us know that you’re celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday or an anniversary, for a small fee you can arrive to find the cabin already decorated with balloons and streamers.
Our goal is that you’ll feel comfortable and beyond satisfied here – and that you won’t want to leave! We’ve tried to think of everything, but if we haven’t then please let us know so that we can try to improve our next guest’s experience. We want you to remember this as one of your best vacations yet, and we hope that we’ll see you back here again!
A couple of notes to help you feel good about choosing Teaberry Vista: It’s hard to find cabins that have recycling in Eastern TN, but if you do recycle then you can rest assured that we pay to have your recycling taken to the recycling center. Also, this cabin is a significant blessing in our lives, and we feel fortunate to be able to share it with our guests -- we’ve committed to donating a percentage of our net profits to charities addressing homelessness and hunger.
